Saturday, November 12, at 2:00 PM, in the Glen Ellyn History Center, 800 N. Main Street, Glen Ellyn, award-winning actress and scholar, Leslie Goddard, Ph.D., presents an illustrated lecture on Christmastime at the Marshall Field store. This program includes the store's beloved Walnut Room Christmas Tree, the holiday window displays, the toy department, Cozy Cloud Cottage and the Christmas catalog. Uncle Mistletoe and his family are also part of the program. Dr. Goddard has published a book of nostalgic Marshall Field's memories and photos with Arcadia Publishing.
