Glen Ellyn Historical Society's Tavern Day Is a Hands-On History Event for the Entire Family.
Sunday, September 27 from 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM, the entire Stacy's History Corner at 800 N. Main Street becomes a pioneer experience for the entire town of Glen Ellyn.
All afternoon folks can take part in rope making, log sawing, kraut making, corn shelling, scarecrow producing, pioneer musical entertainment, interact in an 1840's school room, dip candles, play pioneer games, eat great goodies from the GEHS Bake Sale and much, much, more pioneer experiences.
