Independent Bookstore Day

On Saturday, April 30, all day from 9 am to 5 pm at The Bookstore, we're having a big party in honor of Independent Bookstore Day! Come celebrate your love of indie bookstores with us. Curious George will visit the store twice, at 10:30 am and again at 12:30 pm. At 11:00 am we welcome Glen Ellyn author Bob Razcka, who will be reading from and signing his latest childrens book, Wet Cement: A Mix of Concrete Poems. Bob is fantastic with children  not to be missed! Then at 1 pm, Wheaton author Andrew Brumbach will arrive to sign copies of his debut middle grade thriller The Eye of Midnight. Jane gives this book an A+! All day long we?ll have refreshments, crafts for kids, Curious George activities and lots of giveaways. But most importantly, we will have limited edition books and exclusive artwork that will ONLY be available on this day and ONLY at indie bookstores! Selections from Neil Gaiman, Kate DiCamillo, Ann Patchett and more will excite book lovers. Please join us!
