Secondly, our By-laws provide in Article XVII appropriate notice as follows to any proposed change in our By-laws:

Amendment to Article V, Section II of the Glen Ellyn Chamber By-laws

Current By-Law:

Article V, Section 2 - Payment of Dues - Dues shall be paid within 45 days of billing. New members joining shall pay upon application of membership. No portion of the membership dues payment shall be exchanged for products or services rendered.

Proposed By-law Change:

Article V, Section 2 - Payment of Dues - Dues shall be paid within 45 days of billing. New members joining shall pay upon application of membership. Membership dues can be paid by in-kind products and services at the discretion of the Board of Directors.
