Description
One of the most popular Disney movies of all time is capturing hearts in a whole new way: as a practically perfect musical!
Based on P.L. Travers` books and the classic Walt Disney film, Disney and Cameron Mackintosh`s award-winning MARY POPPINS musical is an enchanting show containing unforgettable songs, breathtaking dance numbers and astonishing stagecraft that will appeal to theater fans of all ages.
A jack of all trades, Bert, the chimney sweep, introduces us to life in England in 1910 and the troubled Banks family. The children in the family, Jane and Michael, have sent many a nanny packing before Mary Poppins` arrival on their doorstep. As the children`s nanny, she takes them on magical and memorable adventures. But the children aren`t the only ones who end up being changed by Mary`s magic and common sense; even the grown-ups manage to learn a lesson or two from the nanny who advises that `anything can happen if you let it`.
