Tuesday, September 1, 7:00 PM, the Glen Ellyn History Center becomes the education and entertainment center for the presentation, Terminal Town: Chicago`s Airports, Bus Depots, Train Stations, and Steamship Landings from 1939- to Present Day.
The Glen Ellyn Historical Society is welcoming Joseph P. Schwieterman, Director of DePaul`s Chaddick Institute for Metropolitan Development and author of the book, Terminal Town.

The admission fee is $5 at the door, students under 18 free.

Schwieterman will be talking about great icons of transportation including Chicago`s Union Station, Dearborn Station, Midway and O`Hare Airports. He will discuss lesser-known and long-gone terminals throughout the metropolitan region. Learn why Chicago is America`s premier travel hub.
