Feb. 24 the Glen Ellyn Historical Society Presents The Great Migration and The Great War at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 24, Historian Clarence Goodman explains why the African American population gravitated towards the industrial North and away from the Jim Crow South. The program takes place at the Glen Ellyn History Center and . begins at 2:00 PM. Goodman explains that a series of complex problems presented themselves that would put these millions of citizens at odds with our president and ultimately rule tremendous social change. Woodrow Wilson was struggling his way through the looming crisis in Europe and was made aware of this crisis in the United States.
